Keyboard shortcuts

You can browse a lot faster using the keyboard, and this page gives you an overview of the available keyboard shortcuts. Some operations have multiple shortcuts; use those you find most convenient.
Notice that the keyboard shortcuts have changed considerably since Opera 9.2. The old shortcuts are still available if you choose "Opera 9.2 Compatible" in Preferences > Advanced > Shortcuts. A compromise approach that enables some of the morepopular single-key shortcuts is to check the box marked "Enable single-key shortcuts".

Note: Selecting the alternate keyboard setup "Opera Standard for UNIX" in thepreferences will override some Opera shortcuts with classic UNIX shortcuts.
